To become an NROI Range Officer you must successfully complete a Level I NROI Range Officers Seminar. The cost of this seminar is $35.00. It is up to each Section whether or not to charge this fee.
Your $35.00 fee is used in the following way. $15.00 goes directly to the National Range Officers Institute, (NROI) to offset the cost of items such as: NROI crest, Range Officer bars, RO Pin, RO Wallet that contains your RO Point Card and Scoring overlays, and of course a beautiful Certificate (for framing). The balance remains in your Section to help pay for the instructors' costs, printing of manuals and other course materials.
